Mended Hearts Club
Mended Hearts is a national, non-profit service organization designed to provide continuing education and emotional support for heart patients and their families. It meets the first Tuesday of the month at 6 p.m. For more information, call Vicki Frank, BS, RN, supervisor of Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services at Southeast Missouri Hospital, at 331-7950.

"We Can" Support Group
For cancer patients and their families, this group will meet from 4-5:30 p.m. Meeting Rroom 102 on the third Thursday of each month. For more information, contact Hospital Chaplain Rocky Tallent at 651-5519.

Diabetes Self-Management Support Group
This group meets the second Tuesday of the month from 1-2 p.m. in the Diabetes Center. For more information or to register, call Janet Stewart at 339-0121.

Brain Injury Resource Group
This support group for people who have experienced brain injury and for their families will meet at 6:30 p.m. on the first Monday of the month at HealthPoint Plaza. For more information, call the Generations Center at 651-5825.

Stroke Club
Stroke Club meetings provide education, support and encouragement for stroke survivors and caregivers. They meet the third Thursday of the month. For more information, call 651-5549 and ask for Karen Wynn, who is a social worker for the Social Service at Southeast.

SHARE Grief Support Group
This support group, for parents who have lost children due to miscarriage, still birth, neonatal death and ectopic pregnancy. Group meets during Grief Support Group meeting every second Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church or the third Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. in the Generations Family Resource Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Grief Support Groups
These groups offer emotional and spiritual support for those dealing with grief and loss and provide an opportunity for education about "Living with Loss – Healing with Hope." Participants are encouraged to discuss feelings and share coping experiences. Meeting times are the second Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church or the third Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. in HealthPoint Plaza in Cape. United Ostomy Association
This group meets the second Wednesday of each month in the Generations Family Resource Center at Southeast Missouri Hospital. A volunteer organization, UOA’s goal is to reduce the practical and emotional burdens of those who have undergone ostomy surgery so they may function as fully as possible socially and physically. Explorer Post 4077
This group meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at Southeast Missouri Hospital. The Explorer Post 4077 at Southeast offers young people ages 14 to 21 the opportunity to explore the many career options available in the health field. New members are welcome.
